In their practice, maritime lawyers face numerous instances that implicate the Louisiana Rules of Professional Conduct. From the commencement of the representation through the settlement of the case, maritime lawyers ‒ whether representing plaintiffs or defendants – are required to navigate numerous ethical issues. The purpose of this CLE is to discuss a few ethical issues common to maritime lawyers so that you may be prepared when they arise.
